#37 Games and Gaming: Get Your Game On @ The Library

well i agree with the shifted librarian, i'm a gamer, i love it myself, heck if we ever have game nights here at my branch i'm so there why? because i'm a gamer nerd and admit it with pride. i find that the game nights at librarys are and excellent idea, it encourages kids to have fun with other kids around their own age and that gameing can be a fun group activity. one of the bad things about gaming, and i know this from experience, is that you end up getting so involved playing games that you do little else. most gamers are fairly introverted and are not comfortable in crowds where they feel they don't fit in and don't belong, but if you get a bunch of gamers all in one room the nerdiness flies. all of a sudden everyone is talking about do you ha a wii, oh have you played the new smash bros. game it's really cool, and so on and so forth. so buy haveing game nights it encourages kids who may not really have all that many friends to enter act with others more frequently.
