#36 Games and Gaming: The Wide World of Online Role Playing Games

so i tried out runescape, wasn't that hard to figure out... not impressed. of course when you compare it to city of heros(coh)/villans(cov), and world of warcraft(wow), rune scape is just not up to snuff, the graphics are terrible, and it's boring. i created a blue haired chick named lalamew and after 20 min gave it up as incredibly boring. i would play coh/cov and wow for hours on end without getting bored, but i just couldn't get into this, heck i got into free rice more than runescape. i used to love playing coh and wow i quit playing them once my character was nearly maxed out and the quests and missions started geting a little boring and all i did was play alts (alternate characters of a lower rank than the main character you play with). on coh i played a regenerative/martial arts scrapper (just think of wolverine from x-men minus the claws but plus martial arts) she was a cat girl named kittykittymewmew she was fun to play but once she was nearly maxed out to lvl 50 i started getting a little bored with it all and switched to wow. then i played an undead priestess named jesebel, she was fun, but definatly not meant to play solo, she needed to play with other people b/c she was very squishy, couldn't take very much damage, but it was o.k. b/c i often played with my boyfriend who was a warrior. we were a good team. then we maxed out our characters to 60 and got bored again. we had thought about playing the mmorpg of conan, we've got some friends both in real life and from wow who are playing it, but the system recquirements for it are so massive that i would practically have to get a new comp in order to even play it >.<
